Krista B Brilliant low-budget independent film with big budget results. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/19/24 Full Review CHRIS M I saw it a theater as a teen back in the early 1970s, and several times (chopped up on broadcast TV, again in a theater in college) since then. I agree with those who say some what over rated. Professional critics called it a "dark comedy", too dark for me. Great opening scene with the (for historians of that war at least) the famed Bell Angel of Mercy helicopters. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review Jeffrey P Never mentioned as a film that wouldn't get made today despite the fact that it wouldn't get made today, so that raises it a few notches in my book. If you can deal with that, you should be able to enjoy this due to strong performances in a unique setting with captivating incidents from beginning to end, despite the lack of a plot. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Audience Member One of the worst and most overrated movies ever made. It’s like Cheech & Chong in 1970 as Army surgeons in 1951. The football game at the end is about 20 minutes of Keystone cops absurdity that is beyond pointless. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review craig p Some of these war theme movies are either liked or disliked, it seems like it's always 50=50. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Elver C M.A.S.H is definitely a product of its time, well acted, and with a very funny third act, however, its scattered and all-over-the-place editing, made the viewer feel that the pacing is slow and almost border lining boring making the movie hard to follow and also considering that the script is basically a series of sketches glued together.
