star Ryan Reynolds is on the top of the world at the moment with his first MCU movie. But what will the future hold for his beloved foul-mouthed character?

The actor has addressed his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following his box-office success, as Deadpool 3 is now the second highest-grossing movie of the year. He and director Shawn Levy didn't make the movie with a follow-up in mind.

"Right in this moment, I have no idea if I’ll ever wear that Deadpool suit again – I hope I do – but I don't know. Right now's the time to just kind of hang it up for a bit and see what happens next," Reynolds said to Collider.

Blake Lively is "proud" of her first producing role in It Ends With Us

The biggest movie news you might have missed this week (4)

Blake Lively has spoken to Digital Spy about her producing role on It Ends With Us.

"So really stepping into that – I've done that in this film – the work I did as an actor on this film pales in comparison to the work that I did outside of the acting," she said.

"It was very minimal compared to everything else. I felt so grateful to have that level of authorship and involvement, it makes me that much more proud of the film."

The romantic drama, which is based on Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel, follows Lily Bloom (Lively) in the midst of an abusive relationship with husband Ryle (Justin Baldoni) as she reconnects with her first love, Atlas (Brendon Sklenar).

Jenna Ortega breaks silence on Melissa Barrera's firing from Scream

Jenna Ortega has broken her silence on Melissa Barrera's firing from Scream 7. Last year, the Sam Carpenter actor was dropped from the seventh movie in the franchise, reportedly over comments she made on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

While Ortega didn't name Barrera specifically, the actor spoke in a new interview with Vanity Fair about Hollywood's attitude to the conflict while addressing her co-star's firing.

"The business that we work in is so touchy-feely," she said. "Everybody wants to be politically correct, but I feel like, in doing that, we lose a lot of our humanity and integrity, because it lacks honesty.

"I wish that we had a better sense of conversation. Imagine if everyone could say what they felt and not be judged for it and, if anything, it sparked some sort of debate, not an argument."

Timothée Chalamet's new movie confirms release date

Timothée Chalamet's new film A Complete Unknown has finally landed both UK and US release dates.

The movie will land at the tail end of award season with a Christmas Day (December 25) release date in the US and a January 17, 2025 opening in the UK.

Chalamet plays iconic Bob Dylan in the biopic, which covers the earliest years of the singer-songwriter's career as a struggling songwriter in New York City and his transformation into a pioneer of the folk-rock movement following a performance at the Newport Folk Festival.
