Riverdale wins at Oakland in historic victory
Riverdale recovers a fumble and kneels down to take down Oakland 25-24. What a game. Riverdale wins Region 3-6A. Among the Oakland streaks ended tonight, per research from the DNJ's Cecil Joyce:
12-game winning streak over Riverdale (2012 was the last time Riverdale beat Oakland)
69-game home winning streak (never lost at Ray Hughes Stadium under coach Kevin Creasy)
58 consecutive district or region wins
49 consecutive wins over Rutherford County opponents.
Riverdale takes lead with less than two minutes left on TD, two-point conversion
Riverdale's DJ Taylor scores on a 1-yard run, and the Warriors opt to go for two and take the lead. They get it on this tipped pass from Braden Graham. 90 seconds to play.

Braden Graham TD pass ties the game for Riverdale, who has come back from 17-0 down vs. Oakland
Riverdale has come back from a 17-0 halftime deficit and is tied up with Oakland in the fourth quarter. Braden Graham could take a big step toward being the 6A Mr. Football favorite if he can lead Riverdale to complete the comeback.

Brentwood defense helping offense; Bruins lead 14-0
Brentwood leads Ravenwood 14-0 at the half. Brentwood's defense has been very good, stopping Ravenwood on fourth down early in the game and creating some good field position for the offense to take advantage.

Oakland is still Oakland, leads 17-0 over Riverdale
Oakland probably heard the talk about Riverdale's chances to give the Patriots their first region loss in a long time. They are doing their best to silence that noise heading into the playoffs, leading 17-0 late in the first half.
